Music Monday

The genres that I listen to the most would be pop and country, it's all about my mood and of what I'm feeling that the music takes its focus on. I have Spotify and there I've created all kinds of lists of all kinds of moods and motivation as well. This Monday I've listened to a positive playlist with  many of my influences, like Billy Gilman and Queen Latifah. Both great and very talented singers and artists.

I was taught to play the guitar by the age of 12 and has continued playing on my own but throughout the past 6 years I've only on occasion played the guitar and now I pick it up more often than before, willing to continue learning the guitar. I have 3 guitars, 2 acoustic ones and one electric and if I'd have to choose between them I'd say acoustic because I'm still new to the electric guitar even though I've had it for 2 years... I'm not that familiar with the barre chords so I stick with it in a simple way, even though I'm learning to take the barre chords it's very hard to do that for me since I kind of have short fingers...

That's all the things that I can say right now, so...

...bye for now, hello for later.

Sunday Stories   Sunday Announcement

This. This blog that I randomly made is working as it should but there's a slight change that I will make, there'll be no Sunday Stories. I discovered that it simply is too much writing about 3 topics when you only have time for 2 of them. Call me crazy but most of my time I spend is with school work... I also spend my time with my family and a few friends every now and then.

Something that I've been thinking of is social medias, and posting my social media links here... there's 2 that I use the most and that is Instagram and Twitter. You can follow me if you want to, it's not like you have to. On Instagram you'll find me as johannaisjay/Johanna Jay and on Twitter you can find me under the same name. You can find out more about me there than here since I use this website for my interests in music and movies.

I'm sorry for putting Sunday Stories down this fast but it is for the best and announcements like this one can come anytime where I talk about anything besides music and movies.

I hope you have/had a great day, there's always that time difference!

Bye for now, hello for later!

Movie Weekend

Even though it's still Saturday and barely even Sunday I have watched 2 movies that I gladly present to you, that is if you haven't seen them before.

I've watched this movie more than once, but my siblings haven't seen it before so we watched it together. If you haven't watched it yet, please do, I will tell you why it's worth to watch.
Here are my 4 reasons:

1. It's from the creators of Tangled and Wreck-it Ralph and yes I've watched them both, have you?

2. The princess who becomes the queen, Elsa, has the power to create ice and snow.

3. There are two great supportive and funny characters, Olaf & Sven.

4. It shows that a woman doesn't always need a man and this is Disney.

Nanny McPhee is a wonderful movie about children growing up and learning to behave since the children in this movie are very naughty.

It reminded me of Mary Poppins as they have the same occupation, nanny, but comparing these two movies Nanny McPhee is more strict.

As an 18 year old I can tell you that it's a movie worth watching for fun and for relearning life-lessons. You can also experience new life-lessons whilst watching the movie.

That's all for this movie weekend,

Bye for now, hello for later!

"Life, we all have one to live and we live it in many different ways.
Sometimes I wonder how I live because, to be honest, I don't know how I do what I do.
I neither know how you do what you do when it comes to living.

But let me tell you, at least, how I think I do it." - Johanna Jay, 2014-04-26

Dear reader

I live in Sweden, and I have my interests in music, movies & stories. I always listen to music, I watch a movie at least once or twice a week and I visualise stories which I sometimes write down. I have more interests but since I still go to school I limit myself with these three topics. This is my last year in high school and I'll graduate this June.

By hope there'll be posts about those 3 topics of what's "hot" in Sweden and/or "hot" for me, let's be honest, we all have different tastes when it comes to genres.

So, get ready for Music Mondays, Movie Weekend, and Sunday Stories.

Bye for now, hello for later!
